“First course is fresh papaya juice. Second course is a very large bowl of hearty soup. Third course is a meat dish with rice and a veggie salad of some sort. And finally the fourth course is a small desert, either pudding or small cake. Bottom line is you receive a wonderful value for the money. Great service and friendly staff and cook.

5 Things You Should Know About Eating out in Cuenca
If you just order coffee you’re going to get a big mug of milk with a little bit of coffee. Ask for “tindo” which is black coffee. If you want cream, then ask for a little bit of milk “leche”. You may be asked if you want the milk hot, say no to avoid extra charges. Sometimes they still charge like $0.25 for the milk on the coffee.
