Welcome travelers! Our family of five moved to Cuenca Ecuador June of 2011. This blog gives you the real nuts and bolts about life abroad without all the hype. We love Cuenca; it's just that the altitude does not love us, so in July 2016 we moved to Salinas. Our oldest son married a wonderful Ecuadorian woman in Cuenca Ecuador in 2017 and we are thrilled and blessed! We are pushing our 6 year mark in Ecuador and are happy to say we still enjoy many aspects of Ecuador life.
