The Pumapungo Archaeological Park is a tourist site in Cuenca that unbelievably, Frank and I never visited until now. Our son Brandon who had been there two times, gave us a grand tour last Saturday.
We really enjoyed the peacefulness of this park and the beautiful lush grounds and gardens.
Amazingly, at the end of our tour was a bird zoo, which was fun to see as well.
The park has walking paths and there is some hills to climb up, however there are benches strategically placed inside the park for taking breaks.
